Whether you're celebrating Valentines Day, an anniversary, or simply being in love, use our romantic treasure hunt clues below (or create your own) to set the stage for a night to remember.

Use your imagination to start the hunt... Set a romantic table and leave the first clue on her plate, send a sexy email to his inbox in the morning with a clue to where to find you that night, enlist the help of a friend or courier to deliver the first clue, or simply tack the first clue to the windshield of his car or the handle of her purse.

Where your romantic treasure hunt begins is not half as important as where it ends. :)

Romantic Scavenger Hunt Clues

Our night of romance has begun
It's time now to have some fun
So, go to the place
That reflects your face
And there you'll find clue number one
(Clue leads to a mirror)

Cancel plans and set time apart
I'll even give you a little head start
In your glove box is placed
A small foretaste
A delicious piece of my heart
(Clue leads to a vehicle glove compartment)

Let's set first the amorous mood
A dreamy, relaxing prelude
Something scent-filled and nice
Where bubbles entice
And passion and strength is renewed
(Clue leads to a bathtub or jacuzzi)

It's time now to turn up the heat
Your search is yet still incomplete
Go claim a prize
Where temperatures rise
To continue this steamy retreat
(Clue leads to an oven - be sure it won't be turned on)

Remember our song and first dance
If you search, you might find by chance
A sweet serenade
Where music is played
To prepare for a night of romance
(Clue leads to a cd player, mp3 player, or
wherever your lover most often listens to music)

Tonight, the whole world is ours, it's true
A dreamland created for just me and you
There will be something sweet
Where you find food to eat
As we savor time long overdue
(Clue leads to a refrigerator or pantry)

With just time and some soft candlelight
I'll be the maiden and you the brave knight
So, go find the place
With lingerie and lace
And discover a lover's delight
(Clue leads to a lingerie drawer)

Note: These romantic scavenger hunt clues can mostly be arranged in any order.

You can create a love note for the last location that directs your lover to a hotel or a restaurant or a place you are hiding in the house.
